Role profile

The role of Management Accountant will report into a Finance Manager. The successful individual will assist with the month, quarterly and annual financial reporting for several clients. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

• Assist with the production of quarterly management packs
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of indirect tax returns
• Calculating fund drawdown, equalisation and distributions, and partnering with the investors on all matters
• Partnering with clients to drive improvements, challenging where necessary

Person specification

The business is keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:

• Working towards a chartered accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Experience of using accounting software (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.)
• Knowledge or experience of the financial service industry (desirable not essential)
• University degree with a minimum of a 2:1 at honours
• Strong communicator and able to challenge stakeholders at a senior level

The role of Management Accountantis offering the following package:

• Salary up to £40,000
• Performance bonus – typical 10-15% of salary
