We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Saltash, Cornwall for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them. This is a full or part time role with no OOH and a 1:3/4 Saturdays. This is a great opportunity for a Vet who is looking to progress with training.

The role
- Full or part time role with 1:3/4 weekends.
- The role is a mixture of surgeries and consultations.
- The Vet will work alongside a team of 4 Surgeons all with various special interests from soft tissue to exotics.
- Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

- They are fully equipped with facilities including a Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, in house laboratory, digital x-ray and endoscopy.
- They have a large veterinary team with various special interests.

- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

Who are they looking for
- The practice are able to support various levels of experience but the Vet would be committed at practising good medicine.
- They are able to support a new graduate Vet. Ideally the Vet would be comfortable in routine spays, castrates and dentals.
- The Vet will be looking for a role where they can continue to develop their skills and progress to studying certificates.
- The Vet will be a team player.
- The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
- The Vet will be able to organise their own time well and remain calm under pressure.
Package
- Salary: Up to £63,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service and birthday off
- CPD: £1,250 allowance with 5 days paid
- Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
