Job Role: Acount Manager - Executive Assistant (for Group Sales Director)

Location: Halifax

Salary: circa £32,000

Hours of Work: 08.30 – 17:00 hrs Monday to Friday

Our client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bathroom fittings and is at the forefront in supplying many famous names in home improvements. We have a new opportunity for a positive forward-thinking Account Manager (Executive Assistant) to join our Sales Team. Reporting to the Group Sales Director, the role is an integral part of the business and provides vital support to our core business.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting and managing all aspects of the internal and external sales teams across the different business units and sectors. These include KPI’s, Daily reports, Feedback, Board reports and Mileages.
- Assisting the Sales Director maximise their diaries and ensure all 1 to 1’s with the sales teams are on track.
- Ensure regular meetings with house and larger accounts happen regularly and joint days out with the sales teams are booked in.

Other Duties include:

- Assisting in organizing and pulling together external sales meetings.
- Tracking meeting notes and actions.
- Monthly state of the nation emails.
- Teams’ meetings and updates from the team.
- Regular internal updates for everyone.
- Organising Internal sales team meetings.
- Assisting with email and phone responses whilst SD is unable to
- Be the escalation point for the sales teams to filter out and reduce activity going to the SD.
- Pricing, quotations and assisting with Weekly forecast template.
- Customer presentations.
- Arranging Travel/accommodation and expenses.

Essential Skills

- Have an account management experience and must be able to analyse data and produce reports.
- Ability to streamline tasks and make improvements.
- Be IT literate and must have worked on an array of systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel.
- Confident and assertive
- Must have excellent telephone manner and the ability to deal under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail essential and an ability to react quickly to a variety of customer enquiries.
- Outgoing personality with good communication skills, common sense and initiative.
- Must be friendly and approachable.
