Job description

We’re working with an independent managing agent who oversee a prestigious 108 unit, settled estate in SW London.

Their client, the Resident Management Company who appointed them, are looking to directly employ a Caretaker / Handyman as follows:

• Full time, Monday to Friday working 7am to 3pm on Monday and 8am to 3pm the rest of the week (no evenings or weekends)
• Based on site (with your own office and parking space)
• Forming good relationships with residents and visitors (excellent written & spoken English essential)
• Undertaking the full range of caretaking duties, including basic DIY as required
• Signing visitors/contractors in and out, keeping check of CCTV as required
• Litter picking and bin shed oversight in addition to refuse collection from some residents front doors (small bags left out)
• Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm checks
• Jet Washing paving and bin areas periodically
• Watering plants during the Summer months

Suitable Caretakers will have good general caretaking skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to undertake basic DIY as required.

Salary will start at up to £35k with future rises based on performance and tenure.
