Job description
This post will support our multi-disciplinary team to complete assessments and deliver individual and group work within community settings. This role gives opportunity for development of skills and expertise in a supportive multi-disciplinary team. The successful applicant will be trained to deliver NICE concordant treatment to young people and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team working across Suffolk supporting clinicians.This post will support our wider work and pathway for children and young people identified with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, more commonly known as ARFID. The condition is characterised by a person's avoidance certain foods or types of food, having restricted intake in terms of overall amount eaten, or both.ARFID can have a negative impact on the person's physical health as well as their psychological wellbeing. Children and young people may fail to gain weight as expected and their growth may be affected.Home based working is also available in addition to patient facing delivery. This role is Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
