Job Title: Recovery Claims Handler


Location: Tunbridge Wells Hybrid worker x 2 days per week in office x3 days working from home


Salary: £24000

Additional Benefits: Up-to 10% annual Bonus

Hours: 37.5 per week between 8 am & 6pm Monday to Friday

As a Recovery Claims Handler, you will be handling a portfolio of non-fault accident managementclaims and responsible for the recovery of the costs incurred. Experience inRecovery or Accidentmanagement experience is essential

What will I be doing?

As an AAS Recoveries Handler your responsibilities will consist of ensuring each claim is proactivelymanaged whilst keeping our customer updated, maintaining expectations and provide outstanding customerservice with an effortless journey until the claim is successfully finalised.With each claim you will need to gather evidence to support our liability decision and compose outlaydocuments, so we can pursue reimbursement of our losses from the negligent parties’ insurers. You will alsobe required to prepare files for legal proceedings to be issued by our appointed panel of solicitors or self-litigating portal

What do I need?

The right candidate will be experienced in managing non-fault claims and chasing debt from third partyinsurers, coming from an accident management background with experience in the field.As a confident communicator, you’ll be on the phone liaising with third party insurers to negotiate settlementof our claim using tactics to encourage the reimbursement of costs within the quickest possible timeframe.Attention to detail is key as you manage your own portfolio of claims and see them through to settlement,handling any disputes along the way, with a commercial view to settling the claims with high success.
