We’re helping a growing mid-sized Marketing Agency to fill a Account Director role due to internal promotion, as they look to push their growth forward. Our Client This agency are doing very well, no debt and very sound financially. They have doubled in size over the last 5 years and have a 3 year growth plan to double in size again. They currently work with some large multifaceted and international brands across a variety of sectors. The Role To achieve their growth plans they’re looking to bring in a strong Account Director. They want someone who will drive demand and cause resource issues. They know that this is 3 or 4 key new client relationships and understand that takes time. They’re not looking for short term projects or small businesses. They don’t actively look to pitch for new business, they aren’t interested in taking part in beauty parades. Success and commission will be based on Net Profit, they are looking for someone to achieve c£250k in Year 1 which they would anticipate would come from just 2 or 3 new relationships. You You’ll have a strong corporate background, from a B2B industry, they’re open as to whether that’s from marketing or other sectors such as financial, legal, software, etc. Ultimately you will need to have a track record of pursuing large (min 8figure turnover businesses) and successfully bringing them on board, and understand that this takes time and a considered, thoughtful approach. You’ll be a talented, energetic doer, who is pragmatic, commercially driven, with the gravitas to talk to big business about their problems. They're open to the right person working part-time hours.
