IT Support Manager
JS Legal Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading regional Legal 500 law firm with multiple offices across Essex. Due to continued growth my client is recruiting for an experienced IT Support Manager for their Upminster office this will be a standalone role.
Role
• To provide day to day technical deskside and remote support to users for all hardware, software and associated peripherals in conjunction with a third party remote support provider and escalate as required
• Set up of new users or those relocating offices including ordering kit, preparatory set up, initial training and testing
• Training staff from beginner to intermediate level on use of basic IT systems and software – Word, Outlook, Teams, basic IT housekeeping and the standard ways the firm works etc
• Training all staff from beginner to intermediate level of use of our legal case management system (initial and ongoing train the trainer training will be provided)
• Preparing training programmes and the delivery of training
• Project management
• Updating servers
• Developing of systems
• To assist in IT policy and strategy, implementing infrastructure and leveraging technology to active our business objectives

Experience
• Minimum three years in a Management role with user and system support experience
• Experience working in a law firm , Accountants or Financial Services essential
• Excellent communication and customer support skills
• Experience of the training and development of users
• Project management
• Ability to manage time and prioritise responsibilities
• Window Server and Desktop operating systems experience and good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
