Senior Payroll Officer (36K) (Armagh)
Our Client :
A growing organisation is hiring a Senior Payroll Officer for its well-structured team. This permanent role, based at the Annaghmore head office, offers an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and low-staff-turnover company.
Key Information:
- Location: Annaghmore
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Responsibility: Senior Payroll Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing ACH staff payroll accurately and on time across multiple pay cycles.
- Creating and maintaining employee payroll records on the SAGE payroll system.
- Exporting, manipulating, and formulating data in Excel spreadsheets for processing.
- Calculating wages and deductions based on employee Time & Attendance records.
- Ensuring accuracy of payroll information in electronic payroll and Time & Attendance systems.
- Issuing payslips, P45, and other statutory documentation as required.
- Generating regular and ad-hoc reports related to payroll, annual leave, etc.
- Completing staff enrolment and processing workplace pension scheme.
Essential Criteria:
- G.C.S.E qualification (including Maths and English).
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a payroll position within the last 5 years, including SAGE payroll experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work with spreadsheets.
- Excellent prioritisation and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook.
