EVENT MANAGER

Mark Allen is a thriving media organisation with approximately 550 MAG-nificent employees. We are seeking an Event Manager to join our team.  With overall responsibility for the day-to-day logistics management of the MA Business portfolio of events, from initial concept to onsite delivery.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position that requires working three days in our Dartford office and offers a salary of £35,000. We provide on-the-job training to ensure you feel fully supported in your role. 

Reporting to the Event Director and working directly with stakeholder groups to identify and implement all aspects of the event, this is a fantastic opportunity for a excellent organiser and multi-tasker who is ready for the next chapter in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in the development and execution of new event and existing events
• Manage contract negotiations, supplier appointments, exhibitor liaison, health and safety, and all other event operational needs
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of event logistics and the ability to oversee all aspects of event production
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Exhibit exceptional project management skills to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget
• Work with the editorial teams and production departments to plan show previews/reviews (exhibitions), winners/souvenir brochures (awards) or brochures (conferences) to ensure that all client deliverables are covered.
• Close collaboration with the marketing manager to ensure that all marketing material is accurate and consistent across al media types
• On site management of team, their roles and responsibilities, ensuring 100% professionalism at all times
