Job description
What you will do in your working day
As a HR Apprentice, you will work towards a Level 3 HR qualification while supporting the efficient functioning of the HR department.
Duties:
- Undertake daily administrative activities that are related to the complete employee lifecycle, following defined policies, and optimise processes to make sure that all HR and training records are consistently and accurately maintained, taking into consideration compliance with GDPR and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure that all significant moments for employees (such as procedures induction, job changes promotions, etc.) are managed efficiently and effectively, by doing the ordinary things extraordinarily well.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate skill-building training activities required by our customers and the food industry, so that we are always audit-ready.
- Provide support to HR Advisors and the head of HR in ER activities that include capability, disciplinary, and grievance, and establish effective relationships with employees and managers across the business.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and provide guidance on HR matters.
- Help to maintain the HR system (UKG) by updating workflows and adding announcements.
- Develop and run reports on all KPIs and people metrics as required using our HR system (UKG).
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship qualification Standard.
Adjustments for experience- you could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant to your :
- Training
- Qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field
- Industry or sector experience.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Upon completion of your HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship you may be employed within the HR and Training dept.
- You will also have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours and higher qualifications.
