Hours as and when required

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as “relief roles” in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However, you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

If you are passionate about supporting people with mental health needs and/or dementia to develop their individual interests and hobbies, then we may have your perfect opportunity!

We’re seeking a friendly and engaging Bank Care and Support Assistant to build positive relationships with our customers and wider team to provide them with first-class personal care and support at Sidegate Lane.

At Sidegate Lane we provide care and support to up to 24 adults with mental health needs and/or dementia. We pride ourselves on providing personalised support to our customers by working with them to draw up a care and support plan that focuses on their personal care needs to help build confidence and prevent social isolation.

Sidegate Lane is located in a quiet area of Ipswich within walking distance of the town centre. We have a free, spacious car park but if you don’t drive, we’re conveniently located on a bus route.

We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme as well as providing ongoing training to develop new and existing skills. You will have access to our Learning and Development Academy providing a wide range of training course, open to all.

Sanctuary also offers a great employee rewards scheme, where you will be able to receive a variety of discounts from major retailers.

If you’re a person who celebrate differences, and strives to treat others with dignity and respect, this is a great opportunity to join our like-minded, hardworking, customer-focused team.
