Caretaker / Premises Assistant
Permanent, Full Time
£23,702 per annum
Location: Colchester
Working Style: Fixed-base worker
Please note that this position is a shift-based role and covers the following days and hours:
M onday – Friday
Week 1; 6:30am - 2:30pm
Week 2; 2pm - 10pm
Saturday working once a month.
The salary for this position is made up of a basic salary of £22,361 per annum and an additional allowance of 6% (£1,341 per annum) for the early start and late finish.
The Opportunity
The Premises Assistant is responsible for organising and carrying out effective caretaking and cleaning of the centre to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers, with responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of all Health & Safety requirements at the centre.
Adult Community Learning (ACL) is ECC’s provider of lifelong learning experiences for Essex residents.
ACL offers qualifications to help people move nearer to, enter or progress within the workplace, or gain skills to enhance life chances. The service focuses many of its programmes and activities on the hardest to reach communities within Essex. Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
