A family-owned Aerospace and Automotive manufacturing supply chain supplier is now looking to appoint a Production Manager as part of their continued leadership investment strategies. With this business having posted sustained growth across a number of years, this investment has come at a great time to allow you to develop the business further as part of the leadership team.
Your new role As the Production Manager, you\'ll be reporting in to the Managing Director whilst managing 40 indirect (5 direct) reports. You will be expected to support the manufacturing team with production output related impacts; drive efficiencies where possible and take a lead in investing in the continued development of your team. Within this role, you will be accountable for the total manufacturing output, product quality and the health&safety standards set within the organisation.
What you\'ll need to succeed To be successful in your application for the Production Manager role, you must have a proven track record of Production / Manufacturing leadership within either the metal works, fabrication, powder coating or paint spraying industries. You must have a strong leadership background with the desire to lead, develop and grow your existing work force.
What you\'ll get in return Within this Production Manager role, you\'ll be offered a role of between £35,000 and £40,000; dependent upon your experience.
