Psychology Graduate - SEND Schools - Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment are working in collaboration with SEND Schools in Liverpool who are looking for people with a background in Psychology to support their students who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. These needs can include, but are not limited to:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• ADHD
• Social and Emotional Mental Health
• Global Delay
• Moderate/Profound/Severe Learning Difficulties
• Visual Impairments
• Medical Needs

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to use their knowledge and skill set to support children aged 3-19 years old, whilst gaining valuable experience to use in a future career in Psychology.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children who have a range of additional needs,
• Monitor and track student progress, feeding back information to the class teacher and SENCO.
• Provide a supportive environment to help children develop socially and academically.
• Work closely with the class teacher, teaching assistants, SENCOs and other professionals to provide effective support.
