- Salary £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm (with flexibility)
- Option for 2 days working from home

- Are you studying for the AAT qualification or have an accountancy degree?
- Do you have 1-2 years’ experience of accountancy and tax working in an accounting practice or in a finance function within the private industry sector?
- Do you exude positivity, energy and passion while being approachable, a good listener and a clear communicator?
- Can you dig deep into the numbers of a business and quickly spot discrepancies and areas of concern?
- Are you passionate about providing a quality service to our clients?

- Are you willing to travel occasionally to meet with clients locally and in London and attend training events and if so, do you have a driving licence?

What the role will involve:
- Accounts Preparation for small business clients including reconciliations, analysis of numbers, posting depreciation, tax provisions, accruals and prepayments.
- Analysis of income statement and balance sheet to ensure all transactions are identified and treated in line with accounting standards.
- Provide training and support to clients using online accounting software, ensuring that bank feeds are live and accounting entries are up to date.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and managing registration and deregistration processes.
- Monthly CIS reporting for a small number of clients within the construction industry.
- Presentation of financial reports to management and clients, assisting with periodic reviews and simple tax planning.
- Completion of self-assessment tax returns for company directors, the self-employed and property landlords.
