HR Assistant
£25-26k per Annum
Are you looking for a brand-new challenge? We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Full Time HR Assistant based in Walsall, working Monday to Friday with 3 days in the office.
This is a great opportunity to further your career to develop your expertise. The ideal candidate will be experienced within HR, highly organised to assist in the HR Director and HR Advisor in providing generalist HR administrative support to employees and Managers.
Reporting to the HR Director duties shall include but not be restricted to:
- Assist in liaising with third party agencies to support the volume recruitment activity.
- Support new employee onboarding processes
- Maintain and organise employee files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure probation reviews are completed in a timely manner.
- Own monthly payroll submissions with third party provider.
- Manage any initial pay queries with employees.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other HR data.:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently followed and escalate as required.
- Support HR audits and reporting as required.
- Assist in organising HR meetings, management training, and events.
- Handle initial HR-related inquiries and/or direct them to the appropriate team members.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives.
What skills / Qualifications do I need?
- CIPD Level 3 or above is preferred. Or a willingness to complete (post probation)
- Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and capable of building positive effective working relationships effectively with various stakeholders.
