Client Details

My client is an award winning firm of accountants with multiple offices across the North West. Due to rapid growth plans, I am looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their team.

Description

· Preparation of limited company statutory financial statements for Small and Medium sized companies

· Produce disclosure notes to financial statements

· Have an understanding of basic Corporation tax and deferred tax principles, along with basic tax planning understanding

· Experience of training junior team members

· Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders

· Other professional service roles demanded by a busy accountancy practice serving with many different clients in industry sectors.

Profile

· Highly competent, with solid commercial awareness and several years' experience within general practice

· Extremely motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

· Currently working through their ACCA, ACA exams or equivalent (or Qualified By Experience)

· A strong understanding of Xero and Sage is preferable

· Experience of producing SME accounts for a wide range of industries

· Be able to use own initiative and be an "outside the box" thinker

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial

· Committed and experienced

Job Offer

· 35 hours per week on a 4 day working week schedule

· 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
