Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Hematology Doctor to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating blood disorders and malignancies, including types of hemophilia, leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle-cell anemia. Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in both the clinical management and research aspects of hematology, providing compassionate care to patients while contributing to the development of innovative treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose and treat hematological diseases.
- Develop tailored treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and bone marrow transplantation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, radiologists, and nurses to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical research and trials to advance the field of hematology and improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of cutting-edge treatments and technologies in the field.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, explaining conditions and treatments effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- GMC-registered with a license to practice.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by specialized training in Hematology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on patient care and research.
- Proficiency in managing complex cases and making critical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in a related field.
- Experience in pediatric hematology.
- A track record of published research in reputable medical journals.
