Position: Science Co-Ordinator Cheetham Hill

Start Date:January Start

Working Hours:Mon – Fri08:30 - 16:00 (1hr Lunch)

I am recruiting for a head of department and Science Co-ordinator for KS3, to work in a partnership school in North Manchester

About the role:

• Lead Science Department and Lesson
• , and provide guidance in line with the school curriculum.
• Manage class behaviour, in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
• Maintainhealth and safety.
• Be adaptableto cover lessons across other departments,when required.
• Beresilient, confident and hold strong behaviour management.
• Work with students aged11 years – 18 years.
• The ideal candidate must have experience teaching / coaching young people sports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS ( Qualifies Teacher Status)
• Be flexible and patient.
• Be able tocommunicateclearly.
• Effectively work as part of ateam
• Be able to work 08.30 – 16:00
• DBSCertificate on theupdate serviceor be willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK
• 2 professional references
• HasGCSEgrade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
