CMA is working with a growing engineering organisation that is on the cutting edge of their field creating a bespoke product that has never been seen before. Due to growth within the organisation they are looking to recruit a finance manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will have line management responsibility for the transactional finance team as well as lead all statutory reporting and tax related areas for the organisation.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Take ownership of the production of the statutory accounts for the organisation including financial statements;
• Lead on all VAT, Corporation Tax and related queries;
• Oversee transactional finance including the approval of all payments and payroll;
• Take ownership of the relationship with the auditors and advisors;
• Other ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

• Strong technical finance experience;
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or defence sector;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
