The Talent Acquisition Partner specialises in difficult-to-fill roles, playing a crucial role in supporting the recruitment efforts of our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify, engage, and attract highly skilled candidates for challenging positions that have proven to be hard to fill. Working alongside the Recruitment Comms/Social Media executive.
You will utilise various sourcing strategies, networking techniques, and innovative approaches to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Your expertise and experience in recruiting for hard-to-fill roles will be instrumental in overcoming recruitment challenges and ensuring the successful placement of candidates across the UK.
This is a full-time role with some flexibility working from home and based at our offices located in Swindon.
Key Accountabilities
- Source suitable candidates for head office and field-based vacancies directly from LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Partner regional teams to ensure the most effective, proactive resource plans are developed and maintained.
- Work directly with the Recruitment Comms/Social Media executive planning strategy for candidate pipeline development.
- Proactively manage online job boards and recruitment agencies and utilise our systems (Teamtailor)
- To conduct telephone interviews, video and face to face interviews of job applicants recording outcomes on our systems and make recommendations to next stage
- Attend University’s and optical events across the country to network and promote the company, recruitment opportunities and our services and product portfolio.
- Design and implementation of end-to-end specific recruitment campaigns.
- Network and advertise to potential candidates and develop and execute new sourcing methods.
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues to identify a constant flow of new candidates to fulfil current and upcoming business requirements.
- To check eligibility documents ensuring all staff have ‘the right to work in the UK’ and relevant documentation is evidenced.
Candidate Sourcing:
- Understand the demand plan, by group and by region.
- Proactively identify and source potential candidates using a combination of traditional and creative sourcing strategies, including online job boards, professional networking sites, social media, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Work with Regions to identify and implement local talent attraction strategies.
Talent Engagement:
- Engage with candidates and build strong, lasting relationships to understand their career aspirations, motivations, and fit for specific roles. Long term ownership of candidate.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Clinic and the opportunities available.
Screening and Assessment:
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to determine suitability both for the candidate and for the business.
Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, talent pools, and competitive intelligence related to hard-to-fill roles. Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies and attract talent.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with Regional Managers to understand the requirements of difficult-to-fill roles and develop effective recruitment strategies. Provide regular updates on the progress of candidate sourcing and collaborate on candidate evaluation and selection.
Employer Branding:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to enhance Clinic’s reputation and attract candidates for challenging positions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, feedback, and recruitment activities. Generate reports and provide regular updates on recruitment progress and outcomes.
- Monitor drop-out rates in the end-to-end recruitment process to establish ROI and recommendations for change.
Events:
- Attend University’s and optical events across the country to network and promote the company, recruitment opportunities and our services and product portfolio.
- Meet with prospectives in location to better engage conversations where needed.
Locum Sourcing and Diary Management:
- To help build and maintain locum database and diary management to fully utilise their availability when the company needs to increase working days to fill demand for our services.
Team:
- Collaborate with colleagues and share best practice to ensure consistency and synergy.
About You
- Experience in attracting technical/clinical candidates.
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to conduct competitor analysis.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and the ability to work well at pace.
- High level of personal resilience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with candidates at all levels - you will need to be dynamic and assertive in this role.

- Ability to prioritise and build strong pipelines to meet demand and changing business needs.
