Description: We are looking for a kind, compassionate, naturally caring, observant, and intuitive individual who wants to make a true difference in the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Weston Super Mare as a Live In Carer.
As a Live In Carer, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them stay in their own home. This will ideally be on a working pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, but this can be negotiated. We are advertising for a lovely couple, in the Highbridge area of North Somerset. Mr (81) & Mrs. W (91) have lived in the same house for 60 years.
Mrs W has been in hospital for several weeks & is ready to come home to be with her husband. Mrs. W needs support with her mobility, she will have a Sara Steady, Hoist, Profile Bed, Commode & Rise, and Recline Chair. Hourly Care Professionals will visit 4x a day to support the live-in carer with Mrs W's Needs. Additionally, Mrs W will need support with personal care, meal prep & household tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, and cleaning.
Mr. W is very independent, he still has his driver's licence & can support himself in his day to life, however, he could do with some company & support with household tasks.
You will be required to assist with daily tasks including
• Personal care & toileting needs
• Medication support • Meal preparation
• Housekeeping • Companionship
• Use of hoist or Sara Steady with 2 carers
Living near Burnham on Sea, there is plenty to do and see nearby with great transport options. This is a fantastic opportunity and we do not doubt that the live-in carers will form a great bond with the clients and their supportive family. What we offer our Live-In carers:
• Competitive Rate - £910 Per Week
• Weekly Food Expenses - £35.00 Per Week
• Ideally 2 Weeks on - 2 Weeks off with the option to take on further live-in care packages & extend the length of time you work.
