Job description

Hiring a temporary Stores Coordinator for our client’s chemical manufacturing plant at Newton Aycliffe, to cover absence (initially) for 6 months, in this full-time Monday to Friday role.

Representing the company in advocating their site ‘Life Saving Rules and 20 Principles’ you will effectively manage all aspects of consumable and engineering stock maintenance, provision and automatic re-ordering processes, ensuring asset integrity and compliance, using a transparent and robust system.

You will bag and tag spares effectively and use a Forklift truck to move around site according to maintenance schedules.

You will be methodical, problem-solving, proactive, committed and flexible, with:

• An FLT Licence
• GCSE Mathematics and English at C/4 or above
• IT system working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, and SAP
• Significant experience in a maintenance/engineering manufacturing environment with stores management including maintenance methodology and work processes
• Ability to liaise with subcontractors and vendors regarding EHS issues
