Legal Secretary / Assistant – Conveyancing
Sutton Coldfield - Office Based
£20,000 - £25,000

Delighted to be working with one of Sutton Coldfield leading Legal Firms to find a Legal Secretary / Assistant to join their Conveyancing Team in an exciting position based in Sutton Coldfield. With modern offices close by to commuter links, and an extremely competitive salary, this is an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing Secretary / Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Sutton Coldfield.
The Role of a Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant:
- Providing full support in Conveyancing department to Partners / Legal Advisors in a Secretarial capacity with some of the main duties including –
- Diary management
- Email management
- Draft email / correspondence
- Audio Typing
- Opening / Closing of files
- Preparation of expense claims
- Liaising with clients in person and over the phone
- Travel booking
- Preparing bundles
- Answering the telephone and dealing with queries
Skills and Qualifications of a Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant:
- Previous Legal secretarial experience in a Conveyancing department
- Excellent document production skills
- Self motivated
- Minimum 60wpm typing speed
- Methodical and organised approach
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Ability to prioritise
- Be pro-active and deliver quality service to clients
