Credit Controller • Alcester • Up to £26k per annum • Temp to Perm • Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
We have a new and exciting temporary to permanent opportunity working for a well-established business based in Alcester. You will be working as sole credit controller responsible for managing a ledger of approximately 800 live accounts from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced credit controller looking for a new challenge or someone from a collections background looking to embark upon a career in credit control. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and thrive on working in a high performing target driven environment. You must also have experience working with a computerised accounting system and Microsoft Excel. My client is offering on-site parking, flexible hours, fabulous working environment and an autonomy for making the role your own.
The Credit Controller's day-to-day duties are as follows:
- Opening new accounts for customers
- Running credit checks for new customers
- raising sales invoices
- Allocating cash
- Chasing customers for overdue payments by phone and email
- Reporting on aged debt
- Resolving customer queries.
The Successful Credit Controller must have the following skills/experience:
- Previous credit control or debt collection experience
- Have worked on a computerised accounts system
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a small close team
