Sales Targets
- Deliver your sales targets in an ethical manner.
- Maintain an overview and insight of all client accounts.
- Nurture existing clients and hunt for new.
- Provide clients with quotations in collaboration with Scoping Team
- Negotiate quotations, close sales and process new orders via sales admin.
- Timely follow-up of enquiries, pending/open quotations and orders
- Manage and report sales pipeline, i.e., opportunities, quotes and orders.
- Arrange visits/calls with existing and potential new clients.
- Optimise cross-selling of their products and services across all Business Units.
- Gather market /client information and provide feedback on buying trends to inform NPD activities.
- Explores and analyses market trends and identifies new opportunities relevant to business unit(s).
- Support and collaborate with other Sales Managers and teams across business units and their products sectors to promote test services and win new business.
- Support the Head of Sales in developing and executing a sales plan
- Preparation and monitoring of sales KPIs and activity log
- Attend weekly sales and monthly commercial review meetings.
- Represent organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, potential clients, trade associations and other relevant organisations.

Technical:
- Experience selling into building manufacturers, or memberships to a specialist body
- Demonstrable delivery of targets
- Ability to grown and maintain pipeline
- Ability to attract new clients to the business
- Excellent time and diary management
- Identify new opportunities, i.e. markets, clients, products & services
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong negotiation skills
- Broad understanding of building and construction industry, products and regulations
- Experience working directly or indirectly in a UKAS accredited and/or product development/R&D environment
