Job Title: IT Technician
Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and other IT equipment- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to end-users- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions- Monitor system performance and ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as updating software and performing system upgrades- Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving license and Access to your own vehicle- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role in Education Sector- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office)- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
