Job description
Due to retirement of our practice manager, we are seeking a highly motivated practice manager to join our established primary care team at Bloomfield Surgery, Bangor.
We care for approximately 10300 patients in a privately owned building with a multi-disciplinary team including district nurses, treatment room nurses, healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, pharmacists, administrative staff and GPs.
Applicants should have proven experience in business management, finance, HR and business planning.
Job Summary
To provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.

Essential Qualifications/Experience
- 4years or equivalent of HR managerial experience
- Financial management experience
- High levels of IT literacy skills
- Proven experience in leading staff
- Experience and success at motivating and managing people to deliver in a changing environment
- Evidence of commitment to continued personal development
Desirable Criteria
- Relevant management or financial qualification

- Human resource management including recruitment, training & supervision, performance management & development of staff
- Financial acumen & experience in business planning
- Motivation and interest in the healthcare setting with the ability to continually develop the practice as required

Hours of work 34-38hrs (this will be an agreed figure depending on preference mutually agreed and be consistent ie 36hr a week )
Salary in region 40-50k pro-rata, negotiable depending on experience
Holidays 5 weeks pro rata plus pro-rata statutory holidays
