Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Social Care Worker, for the role of Day Opportunities Regional Coordinator . We are recruiting an experienced Professional on behalf of a reputable service in providing valuable services for people with intellectual disabilities and other kinds of special needs. This role is based in Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary.
The Day Opportunities Regional Coordinator is responsible for the leadership, management, and coordination of a range of community locations, programmes, and additional responsibilities. The Day Opportunities Regional Coordinator is a key role in the leadership structure of the organisation and is responsible for promoting person-centred thinking and practice in all models of support. The person will work collaboratively with the Head of Services, Area Service Managers, Person’s in Charge, and other colleagues.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Minimum level 8 in Social Care/Applied Social Studies
· Hold a Full Driver’s License (travel to surrounding areas required)
· A strong knowledge base surrounding HIQA Regulations and Standards
· Minimum of 4 years working in the disability sector/with vulnerable adults, period of which should be in leadership role
· Experience leading a team to support adults with ID and/or autism.
· Eligibility to Work in Ireland
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, knowledge of New Directions.
