Leadership L22 (£79,112) – L27 (£89,414) starting salary dependent on skills and experience

The Blackdown Education Partnership is seeking to recruit an experienced and skilled leader to shape the strategies for student support across our trust of primary and secondary schools.

We are looking for an individual who is highly knowledgeable about all aspects of pastoral care including safeguarding and who ideally is or has recently been a DSL in a secondary school or across a number of primary schools.

You will lead on our attendance strategy, have oversight of the work of our SEN leads, facilitate our pastoral leaders’ networks and support schools with developing effective behaviour policies. You will also be responsible for providing strategic leadership in respect of all matters relating to safeguarding including delivering relevant training, providing support and supervision.

This is a crucial post for our rapidly growing trust, and you will be part of the trust Senior Executive Leadership Team working across all schools at primary, secondary and post 16 level.
