Job description
We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer, for our client, a leading specialist in the design, build, financing, and operation of EV solar car parks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant building and delivery of combined Solar PV/EVCP/BESS technologies including site survey, deployment, installation, and O&M.
The Electrical Engineer will:
Prepare procurement specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment and/or project staff and external consultants.
Contribute to the ongoing technical design and development of combined Solar/EVCP/BESS technologies.
Conduct detailed site surveys and interpreting drawings and written word to scope and maintain project deliverables.
Oversee and co-ordinate the technology build process including managing materials and equipment ordering and lead times.
Work with local DNO’s as part of client site evaluations and connections.
The Electrical Engineer will have:
Minimum 10 years electrical experience within the commercial and industrial sectors.
Experience of Commercial Solar PV & EV Charge Points.
Excellent resolution management, analytical and project management skills.
IT skill including proficiency with Office 365 and proprietary electrical design software (Amtech).
Excellent people skills and an ability to get the best from colleagues, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
