Element has an opportunity for a Trainee Testing Technician (or experienced SAR Technician) to join our rapidly expanding team involved in Connected Technologies testing in Normandy, Guildford. Once trained, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments ensuring timely and accurate test results. • Sets-up and perform a variety of tests relating to Connected Technologies (phones, handheld devices) according to regulatory and or customer specifications and requirements
• Work under supervision with technical input of a General Lab Manager, Team Leader, Principal Engineers and wider team
• Follow test procedures and maintain a quality work environment
• Availability to work a morning and evening shift pattern during peak periods

• Ideally working knowledge of laboratory safety and an interest / knowledge of SAR Test Techniques
• Abillity to analyse and compile data 
• Possess strong computer skills
• Comfortable of working in a team environment
• Knowledge or interest in bluetooth, wifi or mobile technologies
• If you are qualified in computer science, electronics, aerospace or anything engineering related this has transferable skill sets for our business related to testing
• MUST have own transport due to the remote location of our facility
