Client Side Property Manager

Job description
We’re working with the private sector arm of a highly reputable Housing Association / Developer whose profits are re-invested into affordable homes for the wider community.
Within their well-established, long retained property management team, they now seek an experienced Property Manager / Block Manager as follows:
- Overseeing a mixed in-house built/managed and external portfolio of blocks/estates situated between Portsmouth & Chichester (with some outlying sites in Surrey but the majority of developments confined within this coastal stretch)
- Portfolio comprises privately owned leasehold flats and communal spaces on estates containing freehold houses (for the most part built, sold and managed in-house but also including wider market estates from RMC, RTM and Freeholder clients)
- Undertaking the full range of duties (budgets, insurance, major works etc.) with excellent support from dedicated in-house teams (Accounts, Projects, Legal etc.)
- 2 days office based (Surrey), 2 days home working and 1 day on site (or as required)
- c£46k package comprising £42,200 basic and £4k car allowance in addition to extensive benefits package post probation.
- Customer service mentality essential, likewise a stable career history and commitment to quality management
- Industry qualifications preferred, but can be supported in post if required. Solid experience essential
- Housing experience (in addition to private sector block management) useful but not essential
