Job description
We are looking for a results-driven, highly organised, team-playing TikTok specialist who doesn’t shy away from getting involved in every aspect of the agency.
Reporting to the Head of Social, the Social Media Manager will support the implementation of a strategy that delivers success across social media for all clients, focusing on TikTok.
Suitable applicants will have experience managing successful TikTok channels and don’t shy away from taking on trends with a reactive approach to creating content to ensure they never miss a beat. A full understanding of tone and approach to TikTok will be integral to this role, with strong experience in editing and optimising content for this channel.
The successful applicant will always have their finger on the pulse and be one step ahead of the latest trends, from audio to hashtags to transitions, which is integral to solidifying yourself as a key player in the social media and content team.
As well as leading on client accounts, you’ll play a pivotal role for the agency, encompassing but not limited to: - Managing client comms will be a significant portion of this role, from sharing content plans to discussing reporting and analytics.
- Contributing to social-first campaign concepts, from ideation to output
- Collaborating with Head of Social Media to improve agency processes and ensure efficiency across social media management practices
- Manage social media content calendars, from grid planning to copywriting to hashtag strategy, ensuring all content is scheduled using Sprout
- Manage standard of social output across accounts to ensure consistency and best-in-show creative with unique and original content across video, static posts and IGS
- Brief creative team on animations, graphics and ad hoc creative required for social campaigns
- Writing shoot briefs with specs for social campaigns to build brand messaging that will be rolled out to achieve wider campaign/client objectives, ensuring all shoots have a strong BTS component to supplement final campaign delivery across social
- Attend regular client meetings alongside the client services team
- Continually monitor and track social media performance and analytics for all posts and frequently find ways to improve on those metrics by testing new approaches and formats
Requirements:
- A passion for social media, trends, content creation, and social-first campaigns in the hospitality space is key, alongside an eye for detail from copy to content.
- A flair for creative copywriting that stops the scroll and builds brand storytelling across all social touch-points, from captions to bios.
- The ability to coordinate various departments, from junior support to graphic design, is essential in managing the success of campaigns.
- An excellent relationship builder, sharing our passion for social media with clients and being the go-to person for all burning social questions.
- Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the hospitality space, always in the know about the latest openings, brand collabs and industry-leading campaigns
- A content-creating whizz, capturing and editing compelling social-first video and imagery on iPhone
- Extremely knowledgeable in all areas of social media, including strategies, content creation, agency practices, reporting and budgets
- Understanding of social media analytics, the latest TikTok trends, detailed reporting and measuring success against KPIs and industry benchmarks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work with quick turnaround times
- A deep understanding of what makes content exciting and shareable across all social channels and a keen interest in emerging social media platforms
- Highly organised with experience working alongside client services teams, creatives and production teams
- Basic understanding of Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
Desirable:
- Experience in paid social
