Your New Role

Within your new role as HR Specialist, you will assist the Head of HR in a generalist capacity, assuming responsibility for HR related matters across a specified region. (Some travel required - mileage covered).

You will provide a proactive and innovative advisory service to managers and employees, supporting with ER Casework, Absense Management and General HR activity, also supporting the team with Recruitment, HR Project Work and Policy Work.

To be a success, it is essential you have a background supporting with ER Casework and other generalist activity and possess the ability to work autonomously and proactively, whilst building strong working relationships at all levels.

What You Will Need

• Previous appropriate experience within a Human Resources environment and knowledge of Employment Law.
• Experience of managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomes.
• Experience of working in partnership with a range of stakeholders including managers, trade unions, employees, and external partners.
• Strong track record of development and implementing policy.
• Full clean drivers' licence with the requirement to travel across North Wales.
• Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
