Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Ballyclare who would like to recruit a full time and permanent Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Dismantling Team Leader

This client, a leading provider of heavy commercial vehicles, is renowned for their commitment to quality service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the heavy goods vehicle dismantling division. This includes ensuring smooth work flow, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering positive customer relationships.
Key duties will also involve supervising pricing and invoicing processes, managing waste removal services, and maintaining meticulous records of de-pollution activities and site operations. Additionally, the appointed individual will be responsible for supervising internal branch transfers, coordinating outbound orders, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Criteria

Applicants must have a strong mechanical background, particularly in Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), coupled with previous experience in dismantling or a related environment.
Supervisory or team leadership experience also required
Experience with de-pollution processes and health and safety regulations.
Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills are essential, along with proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to motivate and manage a team effectively, coupled with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, will be key to success in this role
