Cranleigh STEM is working with a market leader that develops unique chemicals for construction and building products, we are looking for CI & Compliance Managerto join its team in Horsham, West Sussex.

You will play a key role by ensuring that the company's operations and business transactions adhere to all relevant legal and internal regulations. In addition, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation and manage department-specific training programs to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Salary:£40,000 - £50,000

Role:Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection:

Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations.

Positively assist the company in finding solutions to non-compliance matters.

Regularly review and update the company's compliance policies and procedures.

Coordinate and lead internal and external compliance audits, addressing any non-conformities.

Act as the Data Controller, determining the purposes and means of processing personal data, and ensuring that data processing activities are compliant with relevant data protection regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for operational and procedural enhancement.

Implement and oversee continuous improvement projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and industry best practices.

Collaborate with various departments to drive efficiency and quality improvements.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, audit results, improvement initiatives, and areas of concern.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all compliance and improvement activities.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with various departments to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Requirements:

Proven experience in compliance and continuous improvement.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Proven experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, continuous improvement methodologies, and training program management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.

Strong knowledge of industry regulations, legislative guidelines, and continuous improvement tools.

Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for documentation and procedure management.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at senior and Board levels.

Results-oriented with a focus on ensuring company-wide compliance and continuous enhancement.
