As Finance Business Partner- Logistics, you'll support the Logistics Finance function to ensure budget delivery through effective business partnering.

You'll be heavily involved in the Supply Chain and Logistics transformation plan and assist in project evaluation and tracking to deliver significant change to the function.

Coaching and support to develop significant logistics and supply chain knowledge will be available for the successful candidate.

Face-to-face collaboration is an integral part of our warm, friendly culture, so you’ll work from one of our Distribution Centres in Stafford or Stoke for 3 days a week, working flexibly around our core working hours of 10am-3pm. You will also need to be able to travel to our Head Office in Yeovil as and when required.

Beyond that, how, when and where you work is up to you.

• Build trusted partnership with the business to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions promoting business improvements and cost reductions.
• Produce insightful management information to support the key stakeholders in understanding performance against Budget, Flex Budget and Forecasts.
• Conduct detailed analysis to support key decision making and effectively communicating any risks to delivering the plan.
• Consistently seek to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with the Screwfix and Wincanton Finance teams to ensure reports are simple, consistent, accurate, received in good time and process improvements are implemented wherever possible.
• Work with other Finance colleagues to share knowledge and ensure best practice is shared across the team.

• Qualified accountant

• Experience of variance analysis including volume, efficiency, rate and mix is essential

• Experience in Logistics or Manufacturing is desirable
• Commercially aware and highly numerate
• Desire to identify opportunities and propose solutions
• Ability to communicate performance in a meaningful way to non-finance colleagues
