As Regional Operations Manager you will be accountable for regulatory compliance across the region in line with CQC standards Provide operational leadership and expertise throughout the region, seamlessly transitioning between strategic tasks and delving into the finer details of operational services.
This includes overseeing aspects such as staffing levels, deployment, cost control, and recruitment.
Efficient multi-site management, focusing on the development and enhancement of services to guarantee a high-quality, individualized support provision.
Delivering direction and leadership to assist in managing incidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up with stakeholders Demonstrate a leadership style firmly grounded in values of equality, diversity, and openness; adeptly establishes and sustain relationships with direct reports and other key individuals across the organisation.
Lead, coach, and mentor Service Managers in all aspects of operations and service delivery, ensuring the seamless rollout of the strategic plan and vision across your Ensure that appraisals for direct reports are conducted in accordance with Northern Healthcare policy; actively managing performance that falls below standard, following the appropriate HR policies and processes to embed a robust system within the team.
Work closely with the clinical and quality team, to ensure oversight of pathways, assess the appropriateness of residents, and provide assurances on risk management.
Cultivate the executive team, encompassing areas such as Clinical, Business Development, HR, and Finance Collaborate with the quality and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and meet quality improvement targets across the region Aid the business development team to drive occupancy and income growth in alignment with established targets.
Your involvement will extend to screening new referrals, coordinating clinical assessments, and making final decisions on whether a placement can be offered, ensuring adherence to admission criteria and the statement of purpose
Take the lead in establishing effective partnership working with commissioners, health professionals, and housing partners to foster a collaborative approach.
Positively support and manage change within the region to ensure the continuous development of provided services and proactively oversee the growth plan for the region.
Guarantee the training and development of all staff within the region to meet regulatory and contractual requirements, ensuring the maintenance of a skilled and competent workforce Develop, maintain, and evaluate systems and structures to advocate for the rights, responsibilities, and diversity of individuals.
Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure the realization of Northern HealthCare’s aims and objectives.
As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) you will collaborate with all members of the SMT working on ad hoc projects in line with business needs and priorities and be part of a senior manager on-call rota providing advice/support with management of incidents Collaborate with HR to provide support for disciplinary investigations, staff grievances, sickness and absence management, complaints processes, and talent mapping across the services.
Additionally, work closely with HR on various employee-related matters, encompassing competencies framework, skill gap analysis, pay and bonus reviews, and initiatives focused on employee feedback.
Where you’ll be working and hours of work
Your location will be based in Cheshire/Stafford/East Midlands and you will be expected to cover nearby sites.

The role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with a degree of flexibility.
