Part-Time School Cleaner Job vacancy close to the Thetford area of Norwich, Norfolk. Due to the location of the service, it is essential that all applicants are car drivers.

This job vacancy is a 33-minute commute from Norwich Centre via the A11.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to provide UK Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship for this role. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Key Information & Criteria

£11.72 per hour, Life Assurance, Pension, and lots of other fantastic perks.

Part-Time job vacancy, 20 Hours per week.

Term Time Only plus 2 additional weeks.

Hours 5am – 9am (some flexibility on these hours) or 2pm – 6pm

You must have high standards for cleanliness.

A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation or a willingness to learn.

Good attention to detail & able to work as part of a team and on your own.

Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry.

Good communication skills & bubbly personality.

Your Role

You will be working within a Children’s Specialist Education Residential School for Young People with learning disabilities. Joining our dedicated housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. Typical duties will include:

Dusting, Polishing, and wiping down surfaces.

Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas.

Vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Tidying rooms.

Monitoring and re-ordering cleaning supplies when needed.

Reporting any building repairs or faults.

Keeping bathrooms clean and tidy and well stocked.

Emptying and disposing of waste.
