Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established business to recruit an inquisitive Finance Manager who is keen to add value and proactively solve problems.

Management Accountant : Northampton (Hybrid) : £40,000pa to £45,000pa : Permanent

Working closely with Financial Controller, the Key Duties of the role include:

• Support the Financial Controller to ensure the finance function's processes and controls are accurate & embedded.
• Working with all departments in completion of annual budget reporting as well as quarterly forecasts
• Helping with the preparation of the Statutory Accounts, liaising with the external auditors to ensure completion and filing at Companies House
• Managing accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
• Ensure balance sheets are fully backed up and reconciled each month to an audit standard.
• Completing monthly payroll
• Qualified/ Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Proactive approach working on own initiative
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
• Ambitious and driven

Salary and Benefits:

The role of Management Accountant will offer a salary of £40,000pa - £45,000pa alongside study support and great benefits.
