Job description
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Over the past 30 years, EACH has developed an enviable reputation in the field of children’s palliative care.
We are the largest provider of palliative and end of life care and support for children and their families in East Anglia, delivering a comprehensive range of services in our hospices, family homes, hospital and wider community.
All three of our hospices; The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) and Milton (Cambridge) were rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission
Volunteer Services Partner - Hybrid (Manor Farm Barns, Framingham Pigot NR14 7PZ / Home)
Full-Time 37.5 hours per week - Applications for 30+ hours welcomed - Flexible Working Pattern
Permanent Contract
Salary £22,000 -£24,000 per annum, depending on experience
*A Full UK Driving License and use of own car is essential for this role**

This is an existing post working within a small busy team of four Volunteer Services Partners, reporting to the Volunteer Services and Development Manager.
Your work basis will be hybrid between working from home and Manor Farm Barns, Framingham Pigot NR14 7PZ in Norfolk. A full UK driving license and use of own car is essential for this role as occasional travel may be required to EACH’s other sites across East Anglia.
Are you:
Someone who is passionate about the power of volunteering and who is interested in having a positive impact within a rewarding charity?
A strong team player who is self motivated and able to juggle workload with a flexible approach?
Confident in speaking with potential volunteers and engaging with internal and external stakeholders?
Do you have:
Experience in recruiting or managing volunteers/staff (preferred but not essential)?
Excellent IT skills including excel (and ideally using a Cascade/Volunteering, HR database)?
Excellent organisational and administrative skills?
Responsibilities include:
Recruiting and onboarding volunteers across Norfolk within in our shops, fundraising teams, Help at Home service and our hospice.
Matching volunteers to areas compatible with their skills and to maximise these to the benefit of EACH and the volunteer.
Nurture relationships with key external recruitment sources for your area.
Providing potential and existing volunteers with friendly, responsive and effective support.
Offer support and guidance to those who manager volunteers across the organisation.
