Finance Manager
Location: Buckingham

Hybrid Working (Min 2 days in the office)
12-month FTC
Finance Manager needed to join a market leading company who focus on developing fuel systems and aftermarket solutions, based in Buckinghamshire.
Our client is the go-to brand for test equipment for research and development applications for industry leading engine and fuel system manufacturers.
The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager and will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and supporting our long-term growth strategy. As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for preparing management reports, budgeting, and managing financial risks, while also maintaining company values.
Ker responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
- Responsible for preparing monthly management reports & reporting to headquarters in OneStream
- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports
- Full responsibility of budget and forecasting process
- Business partner the General Manager to deliver on the long-term growth strategy
- Support the on-site department heads
- Identify areas of cost reduction and margin improvement
- Responsible for delivery of annual statutory filings, including audited accounts, corporate tax packs & VAT returns
- Manage the local finance team and ensure correct cover is in place in periods of absence/succession planning where required
- Manage the RDEC claim process with third party
- Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the business
- Regularly review internal controls & ensure business compliance to SOX
- Identify and implement efficiencies in reporting
- Manage team of 2
- Support Warwick site with ad hoc tasks
The ideal Finance Manager Candidate will have:
- Qualified BA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE.
- Experience with Excel and the month-end process is essential.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Highly organised with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Inquisitive and curious mind.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am - 17:00pm (1/2-hour unpaid lunch)
