First Team Scout - Must Be Based In Scotland
Company Description
Berwick Rangers Football Club is a professional football team based in Berwick Upon Tweed, that plays in the Lowland League underneath the SPFL (Tier 5).
Role Description
This is a volunteer position for a First Team Scout to support the club with identifying new talent. The successful candidate will work remotely but must be based in Scotland as they will be required to attend live fixtures across the Scottish Leagues. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and identifying players who have the potential to play for the club. You will be working as part of a network of scouts feeding back to the recruitment and management teams players you have identified or players who have been set as targets by the management. The main leagues in focus will be SPFL, Lowland, EOSFL & WOSFL.
Qualifications
- Scouting qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of players across the leagues in Scotland
- Possess excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- A strong ethical approach to talent identification
- Ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle is desirable
