Job description
Working closely with the Head of Tax you will support on a range of tax projects as well as lead the tax compliance work. This is a great post for someone looking for No 2 role in an in-house tax team.
You will manage the tax compliance process, to ensure the completion of returns in a timely basis for Group and statutory accounting tax reporting and Indirect tax returns (including VAT / CIS / RCT / EC Sales / Intrastat etc). As well as looking at tax risk management, tax policy and transfer pricing A significant part to of the role will also be to implement process improvement and review and tracking of effective controls.
Ideally you will be a Qualified accountant with extensive tax experience either in-house or in tax compliance with up to date technical knowledge
Experience with OneSource tax software would be helpful
Very much a hybrid working arrangement, ideally with at least 1 day a week in office occasionally two.
