Job description
Would you like to work for a national charity supporting people with mental health support needs or chronic health conditions back into employment? The charity has won awards for being a great place to work (investors in people) and really support their staff. Want to be part of an exciting new project?
With an office base in Leatherhead, you will be working with clients in Leatherhead and the wider Surrey region such as Redhill, Reigate, Dorking and Epsom (so driving is essential) . The clients you are working with will have a mental health support need or a chronic health condition. They might currently be working (so need guidance and support to maintain their current employment or explore new career options). Or they will not be working at present but are now ready to return to work and need your support. You will hold regular one to ones with your customers where you will provide support around job searching, CV writing and interview preparation.
To apply, you must have experience of supporting people with mental health support needs or those with chronic illnesses in some capacity. You might be a recent graduate with a relevant degree (such as psychology) looking to get your first step on the career ladder. You might have previously worked as a support worker, hostel worker, recruitment consultant, employment advisor, job coach, work coach or residential support worker.
