We like plants, people, and beautiful spaces. John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape, and now, three generations later, we’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today we’re a team of a few hundred people, but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. A DAY IN THE LIFE

While a member of the People team first, you’ll be accountable to the outcomes of all things People Ops here at Mulhall’s – all in line with our vision to be a beacon for other purpose-first businesses.

YOUR IMPACT

Ensure our people are paid accurately, on-time, and have the information they need by owning our HRIS and its maintenance and training

• Build, manage, and maintain a competitive benefits package that’s valuable to existing and future team members
• Support managers in building a culture of documentation around people issues through training, support, and consistent reminders
• Champion safety by owning incident reporting and continually improving our Safety Program
• Pitch in and support all of the other functions of our small but mighty People team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong initiative – a self-starter who’s highly motivated and needs minimal supervision
• Experience with content creation in a learning management software
• Skill with Microsoft Office tools
• A natural bend towards optimism and the ability to motivate others in a rapidly changing environment
