Great opportunity for a confident Reward Lead to join the People and Transformation team at cardfactory. This is a newly created role that will support us in continuing our journey to develop a compelling reward proposition, enabling us to invest in our colleagues and attract the right talent into the business.

Reporting into the Head of People Operations, you will bring the expertise required to develop a Card Factory Total Reward Strategy. Supporting a diverse colleague base of circa 8000 colleagues across the enterprise, this role will work with key stakeholders to form recommendations.
Salary:- £50,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience
We operate smart working principles at cardfactory, combining some days working from our support centre in Wakefield (1-2 a week) with some days working remotely from home.
As subject matter expert build a total rewards strategy for Card Factory
Advise on all matters relating to pay – hourly, salaried and variable as well as pay alignment and gender pay.
Own and deliver the reward cycle – e.g. pay review and bonus schemes
Own salary benchmarking and job evaluation
Accountable for advising on incentives plans across the business including annual bonus, LTIPs and retail incentive plans
Supporting on annual reporting e.g. gender pay and CEO ratio reporting
Accountable for ensuring our benefits offering is compelling and commercial and work with the HR People Operations and payroll team to support on renewals.
Supports the People and Transformation Director with Board papers and Remuneration Committee.
Owns Benefits offering, vendor management and administration
Supports Head of Business Partnering with Organisational Design work
This role would suit a self-driven individual who can work autonomously, with experience of:
Working in a multi-faceted business – ideally with some experience of hourly paid, NMW employees in retail or hospitality
Pay and salary benchmarking
Design and implementation of incentive plans
Strategic and tactical work
Senior compensation and LTIPs
Remuneration Committees and governance in a PLC
Managing Benefits
Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and market trends
