An exciting opportunity has arisen for a maternity cover as a Reward Manager, reporting to the Director of People Services, who will deliver our benefits and recognition strategy across Boots UK, Boots Opticians & No7 Beauty Company.
You will be entrusted to design and deliver Reward solutions, provide advice and expertise to senior leaders and shape and create an affordable employee offer that attracts and retains great people.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and deliver reward initiatives (e.g. flexible benefits and recognition, and supporting annual pay review cycles and bonus) to budget and timescales
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and leaders across the businesses to support shaping and delivering the reward agenda, with particular focus on benefits & recognition
· Manage 3rd party supplier relationships, particularly benefits providers, to ensure great value and a high standard of timely service
· Ensure full compliance of our benefits offer together with the relevant subject matter experts, including procurement, contract management, data protection and information security, tax and payroll compliance.
· Develop and maintain external network, providing market insight to design and advice
· Develops strong and effective relationships with senior and key stakeholders across HR and the wider business to ensure effective delivery
• You’ll have a passion for Reward and in particular benefits and recognition
• Technical knowledge in Reward, with experience in designing and delivering employee benefits and recognition programmes in large, diverse workforces
• Strategic thinker with an ability to navigate complexities and understand future direction to influence & shape the benefit and recognition agenda, balancing cost and engagement
• Excellent partnering skills with the ability to build big and trusted relationships across a wide and varied stakeholder network
• Experience delivering a broad range of reward initiatives, including managing a broad range of suppliers, multiple projects and significant budgets
• Technical experience of benefits compliance (tax reporting, salary sacrifice requirements, data protection) and pay legislation (NLW, Gender pay legislation, equal pay)
• High-quality communication skills in writing, presentation, and day to day interactions
• Experience of leading, coaching and developing teams
